‘Perfect Fit,’ 2009, was created from a body cast of fitness trainer, Stacey Waite. The front of the piece is covered by multiple images of her moving as she teaches and works out. The back displays a stylised and much simplified adaptation of a human spine and musculature. Giblin explains: ‘It was impossible to produce a static likeness of Stacey because she does not stay still - even when I was casting her body she was laughing. It made sense to cover her with suggestions of movement and body structure; she’s incredibly fit and one is always aware of how her body is structured like an efficient machine.’
